Is spending time in jail a good way to earn redemption for breaking the law?

There are many reasons why I think Mark will earn redemption in jail . One reason why I think he would earn forgiveness is because he will have time to think about what he did wrong . Another reason Mark will earn redemption is by reflecting on why Bryon betrayed him. The last reason he will earn redemption in jail is by seeing what other people in jail did and understand why he shouldn't have done those things. He will notice that he was lucky he didn't do some things others did or he should have gotten more time . This book taught me that some friends grow apart .

Make the main character feel good by telling them about their strengths and what they could work on.
